The Juvenile Club are running an overnight ‘puckathon’ on Bank Holiday Sunday, 4th June, as part of a mental health awareness initiative that is being undertaken by the club for 2017.
This event will take place in the ball alley at West End. The participants will be the playing members of Carrigtwohill GAA Club and it will involve the continuous pucking of the sliotar from dusk till dawn.
We hope to increase mental health awarenesss and also raise funds for local mental health organisations.
Sadly, we have lost three former members of the Juvenile Club to suicide in the last three years. The key focus of this event is something that is close to the hearts of many people in Carrigtwohill.
The Juvenile Club wants to get the word out there about Camán Till Dawn to create as much awareness of what it is about and why we are running it.
