YOUNG GAELIC GAMES PLAYERS UP FOR SPORTSTAR & COMMUNITY AWARDS
Two of Carrig’s successful young Gaelic Games players have been nominated for the Sportstar & Community Awards (sponsored by Spratts Bar).
Ciara Brennan, has been nominated for the August Award for winning an All-Ireland Minor A Ladies Football Championship medal with Cork during that month. Ciara is the daughter of Trish Brennan (who has been involved in the Ladies Football Club for a number of years) and Kieran Brennan (Juvenile Club Coaching Officer, Fé 12 Joint-Manager and many other unofficial roles in the club!).
Aaron Walsh-Barry has been jointly nominated for the August Award, a month during which Aaron won an U17 All-Ireland Hurling Championship medal with the Rebels and also had All-Ireland semi-final success with the minor counterparts.
Please make your way to Spratts Bar this coming Saturday, 23rd September (from 9.30pm) to show your appreciation for the fantastic achievements of these inspirational young sportspeople.
