The final Juvenile Club training session took place at West End on Saturday 25th November in bitter cold but dry and sunny conditions.
The Fé 6, Fé 7, Fé 9 & Fé 10 teams had one last hurrah for 2017 on the all-weather pitch. Meanwhile, the Fé 8s were showcasing their skills in the Rebel Óg hurling finals blitz on another all-weather pitch – the impressive new facility that adjoins the redeveloped Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
A big thanks to St Ita’s, Imokilly & Cork senior hurler, Séamus Harnedy and our own local legend, Niall McCarthy for coming along to encourage the players.
Well done to all these young players and their coaches on their super efforts during 2017 and roll on 2018.
(All that remains before we pull down the shutters for 2017 is the Fé 12 league winners Medals Presentation Night and the Juvenile Club Christmas Party. Please watch this space for details of both.)
