Carrig secured their second win of the football league last weekend with a well-earned victory over Mayfield in a very sporting game at West End.
 
Carrig dominated proceedings from start to finish and they have shown dramatic improvement in their football skills over the last number of weeks. Everybody played their part and again all 18 players got game time. This was to be the team’s last football outing for a while as the focus will now turn to the hurling with the league commencing and championship beginning at the end of April.
