Carrigtwohill v Bishopstown in Carrigtwohill, Friday 3rd May 2019
Carrigtwohill 2-13 Bishopstown 7-06
The concession of three early goals had Carrig chasing Bishopstown in this match. The city side led by six points (1-08 to 5-02) at half-time with the Carrig scores coming primarily from the boot of Daniel Murnane (0-6, 4f) with Patrick Walsh chipping in with two points and Seán Brennan goaling shortly before the break.
Carrigtwohill stayed in touch for the second half and the work rate improved but they simply could not close the gap. Daniel Murnane finished a penalty kick clinically to the net and converted a free kick. Success Aregbesola and Cormac Murphy both raised white flags with Joel Joseph getting a brace of late points.
