County Semi Final v Inniscarra in Carrigtwohill on Saturday 15th June 2013

Carrigtwohill 7-8 Inniscarra 6-3

Carrigtwohill played Inniscarra in the Premier 2 County Semi Final on Saturday the 15th of June. Carrig played very well in the first half. Aaron Walsh Barry scored some wonderful points but the moment of the half was the goal scored Hugh O'Neill. Shane O'Hanlon made some brilliant saves to keep Inniscarra out of the game.

The second half was a much tougher task as Inniscarra put the pressure on. Super performances from John Carroll, Kian Dunlea and David Rooney kept Inniscarra from scoring. Ryan O'Donovan and James Mulcahy kept the pressure on and delivered some super balls to the Carrig forwards. David Ryan scored two great goals to finish off the game. Next up for Carrigtwohill is the County Final

League v Bishopstown in Carrigtwohill on Monday 13th May 2013

Carrigtwohill 2-4 Bishopstown 2-2

This was a hard fought victory by the lads. Due to a strong wind it was a 'game of two halves'. We had the wind in the first half and took full advantage of it and led 2-4 to 2 points at half time. Bishopstown came back strong in the second half and came within two points of us. Our backs and midfielders were outstanding and stood up to the constant attack. Our forwards had less to do in the second half but when called on they held the ball well in Bishopstowns half. The younger age players blended well with the up to the age lads and with another couple of games played they will be a strong team. Well done to all the boys
