Our Club held the Dominic Rooney Memorial event Street League style last Saturday Oct 3rd. This year is the 5th anniversary of Dominic's untimely passing and we always remember him as a friend to our Club. Special thanks to Margaret, the boys and extended family for supporting us again this year.
To Peter and the Senior Club for their support with the PA etc. and pitch availability - the Club worked around Domo today and his memory took pride of place on all pitches today at prime pitch time.
To all our players that took part thank you, to our coaches who coached coordinated pitches or sold raffle tickets etc. - thank you.
To all of the referees who attended or contacted us this week to wish us well on the day on what is a very busy match season - thank you. To Carraig Print Litho Press for printing today's program. To our club photographers for their support and to all of the Committee who played their part in the lead up and roll out of this event. Go raibh míle maith agat
Every player at U6 U8 level received a personalised water bottle going home sponsored by Luciano The Mill Grill in Midleton. For all players who participated on the day from U10 up to U16received a hurley with DR-21 woodburned into it. Thanks to Sheamus OChomhraide Woodburning Art and O'Connor's Hurleys for their work.
