We were absolutely delighted that our fantastic U12 Panel were one of the clubs chosen for Saturday 10th’s Camán to Munster Event which was held in The Gaelic Grounds, Co Limerick.
This was a great opportunity for the girls to play in a big stadium and against other counties. In these blitzes, teams play at least 3 games each following U12 Go Games rules – no scores kept, maximum participation and fun all the way!
Carrigtwohill was drawn in Group 4 against Ballinora (Cork), Ahane (Limerick) and Portlaw (Waterford)
Excited players and coaches were bused up to the Gaelic Grounds, with their group matches starting at 12.15 sharp.
The girls represented their Club with flying colours and had a fantastic time. Each were rewarded by a special Camán to Munster training tee as a memento of their day. And of course a food stop on the way home which is always fun!
Aisling Sexton was our Go Games referee on the day – thank you Aisling you did brilliantly.
Thanks also to the U12 Coaching Team for organising the day and making sure everything ran smoothly.
Here are some pics of the day and also links to a couple of Facebook videos:
