Couch to 5K - 6th January 8.00pm
Carrigtwohill Cougars (Gaelic for Mothers and Others) have begun a Couch to 5K event that will be taking place this evening at 8.00 pm at the lake in Castlelake.
If you're interested in taking on a bit of walking, maybe a bit of light running, and a bit of a chat then this may interest you or someone you know.
It's suitable for absolute beginners and caters to all ages and fitness levels.
All are welcome to join and you don't have to be a member of any club.
Hope you can make it.
Carrigtwohill GAA, Ladies Football, and Camogie clubs are participating in the GAA's Healthy Club project.
The aim of the project is to promote healthy living in the clubs themselves but also in the wider community of Carrigtwohill parish.
We are hoping to do this with the help of people who are interested in working with us in the organising and management of health-related events, learning opportunities, initiatives, etc.
We know that GAA coaching and club administration may not be of interest to you, but maybe you'd be interested in helping us with this?
You don't have to be a past or present member of a club. It would be great to get new volunteers and new ideas for this.
All are welcome.
