Senior Hurling League Round 2

Carrigtwohill 0-22 Ballymartle 0-14 in Carrig on Saturday, March 26^th at 4.30pm

Carrig made it 2 wins from 2 in the Senior Hurling League with both wins coming against opponents they will meet in their championship group. Ballymartle were the visitors to West End on a sunny afternoon but it wasn’t a happy trip as Carrig led from pillar to post.

Liam Gosnell had the standout stats with 0-13 points, 0-6 from play. James Mulcahy added 0-3 and there was a brace each for Liam O’Sullivan and Tomás Hogan. Daire Sullivan and Cian O’Riordan also added 0-1 each to see Carrig comfortable at the end. Ballymartle reduced the deficit at various stages to 0-5 but couldn’t reel Carrig in.

Carrig now have 2 wins from 2 in the Senior Hurling League and will meet Sars in round 3 on the weekend of April 9^th/10^th.
