Carrig's first ever Darkness Into Light group event attracted a gathering of an estimated 300 people to the GAA Club on a beautiful May morning. This event was organised by the Carrigtwohill GAA Healthy Club, which has members representing the camogie, ladies football, juvenile and adult clubs.

We simply cannot get into individual thank yous, as there are too many and we are all wrecked after the sleep deprivation, so we will undoubtedly forget to name some of the many volunteers who made this such a special and memorable morning.

The Healthy Club wishes to sincerely thank everybody who helped out in any way with Darkness Into Light. Míle buíochas to all those who got out of their leabas in the middle of the night to walk with us.
