Carrig’s Patrick Walsh played in the All-Ireland minor hurling championship semi-final last Saturday.  The Rebels were beaten (3-18 to 1-10) by Galway in the match, which was played in Thurles.

Patrick comes from a GAA-mad family and the club is extremely proud of him.  It is Patrick’s hard work and determination from a very young age that has gotten him to where he is.  Cork may have lost the match last Saturday but Patrick Walsh is a winner in our eyes.

Well done to Patrick on his perseverance and commitment.  We have absolutely no doubt that there are bigger days ahead for this young man.
