It was with great sadness that Carrigtwohill GAA Club learned of the passing of Pat O’Sullivan.

Pat togged out with the Carrig hurlers in the 1950s.  He was club secretary in 1960. ‘Sully’, as he was affectionately known, was treasurer on the development committee that succeeded in acquiring the ground that secured the future expansion and development of the current club grounds.  That tranche of land comprises the current main pitch, clubhouse and Páirc na nÓg.  It was a big moment for the club, which would probably no longer have a home at West End, were it not for that land purchase.

The club expresses our sincere and heartfelt condolences to Pat’s family and friends. He will be sorely missed.  Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.
