Carrig's senior hurlers will travel to Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Saturday next, 30th September, to line out against Newcestown in the senior A hurling championship county semi-final. Throw in is at 4:00pm.
The team has made steady progress this year under new manager and former Carrigtwohill player, Frank Flannery. Carrig had wins in their opening group games against Mallow (2-20 to 2-09) and Cloyne (0-19 to 1-11), before losing narrowly (2-14 to 1-18) to Fermoy in the final round-robin game. Bride Rovers and Blarney contest the other semi-final (at 6pm) as part of a double-header in 'the park'.
The club wishes the panel of players, management and backroom team the very best of luck on Saturday.

We are looking to get a big support in Páirc Uí Chaoimh to cheer on the team. Please try make your way to the game on Saturday and wear your Carrig colours.
Please note the following key points regarding traffic and access to Páirc Uí Chaoimh for next weekend's games.
The Live at the Marquee site is no longer available for parking, therefore, all teams are encouraged to use buses.
Supporters are encouraged to use the Shandon and Lee Rowing Club public car parks.
An inner Garda cordon will be in place for all games to prevent parking in front of the stadium on Monahan Rd and in local residential areas.
The North Stand is the only stand that will be open to patrons, however, the Premium Level (South Stand Level 2) will be open for Premium Level ticket holders only.
Supporters are asked to please respect all local areas and residents on all occasions.
