The junior A hurlers will start their championship campaign on Bank Holiday Monday when they travel the short distance to Lisgoold to play Midleton in Round 1 of Group 2.

The championship consists of three groups of three, with two teams of the nine to be relegated, meaning it will be hot and heavy from the off.  Carrigtwohill will play Carraig na bhFear in their other group game.

Carrig comes into the championship off the back of a respectable showing in the Division 1 league with three wins out of seven matches, having been promoted from Division 2 last year.

Cian Rohan, the selectors and the panel have prepared well for this championship.  It would be great to see a big Carrrigtwohill support in Lisgoold next Monday evening, so please make the short journey and cheer the team on.  Go n-éirí an t-ádh leo.
