Killeagh added a point and there was a seven minute spell with no score, as the teams battled to get over the finish line. Daragh Hannigan finished well to the back of the net to put Carrig in front by a point with three minutes remaining. Chris Keegan struck a close range free over the bar as normal time elapsed to seal the win for Carrigtwohill.
Well done to the team and management on battling back so strongly in the second half to get the win and earn a place in the semi-finals. The entire back line and midfield played very well in the second half to hold the opposition to just four points. Carrig will play Midleton in the semi on the 1st October.
