A WhatsApp Channel has been set up for club fixtures, results, match reports, news, events, fundraisers etc.

All competitive adult fixtures, along with minor championship and any underage final fixtures will be posted on this channel.

The advantages are that text as well as media can be shared with those who are following the channel and it also allows you to be part of it without your details being visible to other members. 

Following the Channel

This is open to all members. 

If interested you can join the Carrigtwohill GAA Club channel by opening the this news item on whatever device you use for WhatsApp (this is a requirement) and then selecting the link here:

Once the channel page opens

1. Click on the link and select 'Follow'.

2. Unmute notifications in the top right of the screen to receive notifications.

3. Click on 'Updates' on the bottom of the screen whenever you wish to view the channel. (It's not in your chats)

Deprecation of Club WhatsApp Groups

As and from next weekend, we will discontinue putting news content into club WhatsApp groups. 

If you still want to be kept in the loop and receive that info, plus all competitive fixtures each week, you need to follow the channel. 

Text messages will continue to be sent to all those not in the group.
