It was a beautiful evening for the u11s to take to the field to begin their 1st ever competitive match against Killeagh with Aisling Sexton refereeing the game. The game was very competitive throughout the evening with the girls never dropping there heads. Our messages from the last few weeks of training has been good or bad its all about the next ball, focus on the next ball. This stood to the girls last night on a very tough night. With 3 of our girls unable to play we were lucky enough that Niamh, Ellen and Ciara from the u10s were able to play. Emily Bernard played her captains roll with great passion and encouraging her teammates on all night, which with losing 2 further players to injuries on the night left us playing short a player. The girls never gave up and the work ethic showed in the last quarter.
