A History of Gaelic Games in Carrigtwohill
The purpose of A History of Gaelic Games in Carrigtwohill was to record at the end of the twentieth century, more than a century of playing Gaelic Games in Carrigtwohill.
It is the culmination of twenty years of dedicated research from the initial conception, to publication, and is fully illustrated with many never before published photographs. We have endeavoured to capture the pride and passion of all involved with the club in as much detail as we could muster and, with as much accuracy as we could establish.
However deeds will always be more powerful than words and no words of ours could do justice to the nobility of great Carrig teams and great Carrig players and their great achievements over the decades.Hopefully this book is a celebration of a story with a broad appeal, not only to all involved with the games in Carrigtwohill, but also with the enthusiastic supporter as well as the historian.
