Cork Senior Hurling Championship Semi-Final
Sunday, October 6th
Carrig vs Glen Rovers in Páirc Uí Rinn at 2pm
Referee: Cathal McAllister (Aghada)

Carrig take on Glen Rovers in the Senior Hurling Championship Semi-Final this Sunday, October 6th at 2pm in Páirc Uí Rinn. Our senior hurlers have defied the odds to make it to our 1st county semi-final since we won it all in 2011. Carrig overcame Midleton on that day but are now the last East Cork club standing as we prepare to take on the northsiders.

Carrig lost their opening round match to St. Finbarrs back in April but have overcome Killeagh, Bandon and Ballyhea to get within 60 minutes of a county final. The Glen have beaten Midleton, Charleville (AET) and Newtownshandrum to make it this far. Carrig and the Glen last met in senior hurling championship back in 2015 when Carrig were unlucky to lose a round 2 clash 0-13 to 0-12.

The club would like to wish our players and management the very best of luck on Sunday. It has been a fantastic year so far but these lads have every chance of keeping it going. We would ask everyone to come out to Páirc Uí Rinn and support this great group of players. Carrig Abú!
