Carrig take on St. Finbarrs in Round 3 of the Premier Senior Hurling Championship this Saturday at 7pm in Carrigaline. Due to current government restrictions only members of both panels are able to be in attendance. We will be providing match updates on our Twitter page.
Carrig drew with Na Piarsaigh in Round 1 and lost out by 2 points to Glen Rovers in Round 2. St. Finbarrs prop up the group after 2 heavy defeats. Carrig can still qualify for the championship quarter-finals but could also potentially drop into the relegation playoff if results go against them.
In order to progress Carrig need to beat St. Finbarrs and the Glen need to beat Na Piarsaigh with a 15 point swing in Carrig's favour. The table currently stands at:

Carrig and the Barrs met in the opening round of last year's championship with the Barrs running out easy winners on a scoreline of 3-23 to 0-8. Over a year later both teams look very different.
The club would like to wish the best of luck to the management team of Mickey 'Da' Fitzgerald, Eoin O'Mahony, Mick Boland, Seamus McCarthy, Cormac Carroll, JJ Barry and Jason O'Connor and to all of our players as they face into this crucial game.
