Coffee Morning in Aid of Carrig's Mick O'Sullivan
November 02, 2023
Carrigtwohill man, Mick O'Sullivan is currently undergoing treatment for lymphoma having just recovered from a stem cell transplant for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Mick has been unable to work for the past twelve months due to his illness and his wife, Niamh has become his full-time carer. They have three young children.
Mick grew up in Carrig. He played underage and adult hurling and football with Carrigtwohill before moving to Ladysbridge and getting involved with local GAA club, Fr. O'Neill's, where he currently serves as chairperson of the juvenile section of the club.
Carrigtwohill GAA Club, in conjunction with Carrigtwohill Community Council are organising a Coffee Morning to assist with the day-to-day bills & expenses of running a home for the duration of Mick’s treatment and to assist with the costs of travelling from Cork to Dublin for treatment.
The Carrigtwohill community is renowned for supporting people in their time of need. Please support this fundraiser for one of our own, if you can.
